The Cowboy Outpost was created to help Old West enthusiasts join the sport of Cowboy Action Shooting by providing affordable firearms, gun leather, western clothing, and targets. Owners, Michael & Susan Dawe (a.k.a. Bad Creek Kid and Prissy Britches) both come from hard working farming families in Northwest Ohio and know how hard people work for their money.   Mike saw Cowboy Action Shooting and was hooked.  Mike, who wanted this to become a family activity, took Susan to a shoot and Cowboy Action  Shooting  became a  part of  their lives.  The two  are active members of the Sandusky County Regulators in Gibsonburg, Ohio; the Firelands Peacemakers in Rochester, Ohio; and SASS members.  

After seeing the need for affordable authentic items for Cowboy Action Shooters,The Cowboy Outpost was created.  Together, Mike and Susan combine their skills to find items and make them available.   Michael is a talented metal worker.  He has used this talent to make the best Cowboy targets.  He is also a FFL dealer who stays aware of the latest firearms.  The Cowboy Outpost shows genuine interest to help, know our products well, and offer a selection of products that will suit your needs and budget.
